Product description:

Smooth adjustment and precise setting of the rip fence. The 9-way ball bearing roller carriage system allows you to get more out of your saw. Thanks to the innovative spring system, the slide rail automatically adjusts to the gap in the U-profile to prevent annoying tilting. Reinforced by the ball-bearing rear, the "drag" effect of the rip fence disappears and guarantees a permanently consistent relationship between the rip fence and the saw blade.

A size 2 Phillips screwdriver, a 3mm Allen key and a 10mm socket are required for assembly or disassembly. These are not part of the scope of delivery.

The roller carriage conversion kit for my 635-216 parallel fence has far exceeded my expectations. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward, all parts fit cleanly and precisely, and even during the first test run, you immediately notice: the carriage runs buttery smooth and absolutely without play.
What I find particularly positive is:
✔ Significantly improved leadership:
The stop now glides smoothly across the entire length of the table without any jerking. No catching, no jamming, just a clean, controlled movement.
✔ Greater precision:
Thanks to the stable roller mechanism, the stop remains in position much more precisely. Repeatability is excellent, especially with longer workpieces.
✔ Solid and well-designed:
All the parts appear to be of high quality; nothing wobbles or feels cheap. The system was clearly developed with a great deal of practical experience in mind.
✔ Upgrade with real added value:
I wouldn't have thought that a modification would improve the parallel fence so much. To me, it almost feels like a completely new machine.
✔ The price-performance ratio is absolutely convincing:
The price is more than justified for the gains in comfort and accuracy.
Conclusion:
An excellent upgrade for anyone wanting to take their 635-216 parallel fence to the next level. More precise, more comfortable, and significantly more professional. Highly recommended!

The service was excellent. The description and installation instructions were absolutely clear and very well explained. The parts fit without any modifications to the workpiece.
Now I would just like you to adjust the retaining wedge for the rear rail so that the parallel stop aligns even better.

I carried out the modification immediately upon receiving it. The sliding bearing is a very good improvement. My only criticism is that the stop, with a ball bearing, leaves the guide at a cutting width of 26 cm and is then no longer precise. An additional ball bearing a little further to the left could help here, to force the guide to stay in place.

After a minor delivery issue (the two springs were missing from the package but were promptly sent), the conversion of the parallel fence on my Bosch 635-216 was quickly completed. The fine-tuning isn't quite perfect yet, but that's not a fault of the product, but rather my own less-than-ideal DIY skills. The parts are robust yet delicately crafted. I think I made a good choice with this conversion kit. I highly recommend it; it significantly enhances the 635-216.
