Finally building a sliding sled that really works

If you want to build your own sliding sled on the Bosch GTS 10 XC, you need one thing above all else: play-free guidance. Without it, the carriage wobbles, the cutting angles are incorrect, and all the work was in vain. This is exactly where these roller rails come into play. The rails are inserted into the recessed grooves of the GTS 10 XC table and form a ball-bearing, play-free guide for your self-built sliding sled, also known as a Cross Cut Sled.

• 2 fixed bearing rails, adjustable at 8 points without play, for precise guidance
• 2 floating bearing rails ensure smooth running and no jamming
• 48 ball bearings in total for buttery-smooth, play-free operation
• 16 M4x20 countersunk screws and matching nuts for 12 mm plates

Backlash-free thanks to fixed bearings and floating bearings

The principle comes from mechanical engineering. The fixed bearing provides precise, play-free guidance in all directions. The floating bearing compensates for manufacturing tolerances and slight distortions. Together, this creates a sliding carriage that moves cleanly and without play across the entire table.

Get started straight away

All mounting hardware is included. Insert the rails, align them, put the sliding carriage on, done. No separate accessories required. Ideal for a 12 mm thick carriage plate.

Tilt protection can be retrofitted

A tip protection is available as a separate accessory and can be easily retrofitted. More on this will follow shortly.
